Hiatus

Hiatus was the last performance in the old Karada House space, which closed at the end of February 2022. "Hiatus" describes a gap. For example, the gap of layers in sedimentary rocks, or the meeting of two vowels between two syllables. The hiatus that is hereby created is not just a gap. It is the memory of what this place could be filled with. It was a place for ritual. A place for self-discovery. A place for conflict and conflict resolution. A place that was there to challenge the status quo. A heterotopia for people who had no environment in which they could simply be.
